Time: 9am-3pm

 

The CESA 4 Homeless Liaison Network provides resources, professional development, and opportunities to collaborate with other district liaisons on all topics related to students and families experiencing homelessness. Through the Homeless Liaison Network, stay up to date on McKinney Vento Compliance and strategies and resources to support your schools’ youth experiencing homelessness.   

 

Topics to be covered include but are not limited to:

  • McKinney Vento compliance
  • Staff training on identifying youth experiencing homelessness
  • Unique situations in working with students and families experiencing homelessness
  • Reporting and data tracking within your district
  • Improving school services related to homelessness
  • Community resources for outside referral

The cost for the first team member per district is $300.00 for the series.  Each additional person is $25.00 per workshop.  

 

Single event registration cost is $180.
